Quote from: Old Gobbler on December 31, 2024, 11:38:35 AMThanks for the kind words !!! After 34 years of ups  ive made the decision to retire and say goodbye to working soo many hours

I think its good timing i turn 55 and can get my pension and make game calls on a more full time manner ...I will make a normal amount of turkey calls this spring , then spring 2026 I'll be able to make more than the normal

I've always worked waaaay too many hours , 2020 with covid I worked 3056 hours at ups plus building calls

I now have to adjust back to the real world and learn how to relax

Thank you guys Shannon

Congratulations on retirement. Everyday is now Saturday! Here's to many years of good health and good times afield!

I remember those days "way back when" where I thought retirement would never get here. Now that I have been at it for a few years, I keep asking myself why time went by so slowly during the working years and now that I have been retired a while, the years are flying by. ...Dirty trick someone is playing on us. Nonetheless, glad that you finally have made it, Shannon!  :icon_thumright:

Congrats Shannon! I hope you enjoy your retirement sir.

Congrats!
I'll be joining the retirement parade this year as well. 40 years in the industrial electric industry will be enough for me.
