Pattern test with my Charles Daly 101 20 gauge using 2-3/4" Burgess Creek 1-3/8 ounce of #9 TSS shot. 20" barrel with stock ported .575 choke tube using a Bushnell Advance red dot.

Have you shot anything heavier (1 5/8) in that gun? Notice a difference in recoil?

Thanks for sharing this one!  I wanted to test a lighter load in my Midland, which looks like a twin of the CD, but have not to date.

I have only shot 1 5/8 or bigger in mine so far. I used the Rocky Ridge 2oz this season and just had to tolerate the mule kick. I use on limbsaver butt pad that really helps tame it down.

I've shot multiple 3" 1-1/2 and 1-5/8 ounce loads in this gun. Definitely a reduction in recoil in the 2-3/4" load at 1070 fps.
