Franchi al 48 sighting options

Thinking a franchi al 48 could be made into a really nice turkey setup. But was wondering what people who use them use for sights. With today's tight chokes and tss, guns typically need sighted in for poi. Does a meadow creek mount work well with the recoil operated system of these? I would think they possibly could hinder operation otherwise I would think it would be hard on the sight and keeping screws tight could be a challenge. Can the receiver be drilled and tapped with good results? Thank you for any insight you can offer.

Welcome to OG.. I would reach out to Sumtoy, he can tell you about drill and tap. A lot of guys are running the Meadow creek mount with no issues. Good luck.
