...unlike a great place that produces a product like food ...that keeps you coming back , Oldgobbler shares information, communication and a friendly atmosphere...when a person is identified to habitually spreading a bad experience...that's the same as having a place sell bad food that makes people sick....so the "health board" does a inspection..and cleans it up

There is a reason the site has lasted so long , and that is because we have such great members, I could probably write a book on the subject

Keeping it enjoyable is the challenge. I have found that keeping the contention out of people's passion is a tough road. We are all passionate about this sport and passion is when something is burnt into your soul. I stirs emotions and reaction. when you list the things in life that you are passionate about the list will identify all the things you will go to war over and protect with all your heart. Loosing them is like cutting out a piece of your soul. Understanding this concept should help us in keeping our discussions civil, fruitful and enjoyable. Everyone experiences their passions differently and develop views from a diverse life experience, so we often do not see details the same. Just as the use of many colors properly applied to a canvas make a beautiful painting so does the proper application of many views of the same passion. Grace and and forgiveness are the best rules for keeping this enjoyable. The pursuit of shared joys, knowledge and differing opinions are the fuel. It's ok to start a hot fire to sit around and roast some wieners, but not ok to burn down the house. Thank you Shannon for letting the camp fires burn hot, but saving the house at times.

I applaud the form administrator for allowing this thread, started 7/10, to continue reaching now close to 2800 views.  I intended it to be a hoot.  Certainly turned out that way. Will drop off now to let things calm down and shake out. If anyone was offended be assured that is was intentional.  Hunt legally and leave others alone is a good motto to live by. Good luck to all.

Yessir. Though my opinion may differ from many, I am in no way preparing to break out the torches and pitchforks about those differences . As long as you are hunting within the laws it doesn't matter what you, me or anyone else thinks. Good luck and GOD Bless.
