I have a big box of used and new stamps which were my grandparents. Anyone need some stamps?

I would take a look at eBay to figure out value, you might have some real valuable items there

True.

I've looked at a lot, and searched some.

Most are used, or actually put on pages with information about each stamp.

I figured if any stamp was of great value, hopefully, the taker of the stamps would half it with me. Maybe I'm just expecting too much.

My father does and has been collecting since the 40's. He has an amazing collection.

Your stamps would be great for a beginner stamp collection

my grandfather did. He would go to the post office and buy every kind they had. No telling what that collection had in it and no telling where it went. I'm guessing somebody kin to me has it.lol

David--
It took us a couple of days but we finally had the time as a family to get together and open the package that you sent... Words simply cannot express the surprise on both me and my son's face when we saw the number of old stamps in that box!

I snapped a couple pictures of a very grateful boy... You can be 100% assured that these stamps will be treasured for years to come. I will totally enjoy going through this treasure trove with Jake, sorting, organizing, and presenting these stamps... We'll have to buy several albums to put them in!

...Jake, before opening the box.... He can't wait to see what he got!

..Some loose..some on sheets... You're right David, this will take weeks! :o

...Lot's of newspaper clippings about the release of new stamps...

...One happy kid!

I got my son interested in stamp collection about two years ago, and he already started a nice little album of mostly colorful foreign stamps... I was hoping he would eventually get into the older US commemoratives.. Well, he has both feet in them now!

Thank you David! God bless you!

Ken,

Tickled to read and see the stamps went to someone who appreciates them.

I collected as a kid before I moved into baseball cards. I had a good time with it. Very nice to give that young man that collection. He'll enjoy that for years.

....I can 100% guarantee that... Guy's like David are few and far between these days... I feel very fortunate to have crossed paths with such.

...And the greatest thing about all of this is... My son has learned what generosity truly means... That in itself is totally priceless.
