Snake ID

My wife called me outside to the front porch saying we had another visitor.  Please help me ID this juvie.

Cant see the head all that well, but looks like a banded water snake. I have seen mocassins that color too, but not often. Cant see if that head if diamond shaped or not.

I think it's a water snake.  If it was my house, I would have already killed the snake, threw it in the woods, and helped my wife clean up her poop!

Thanks for the help.  I thought it was a banded water snake or juvie. cotton mouth.  I didn't kill it, but I did re-locate it back to the woods where it can hopefully get some rats or something.
