I have never been able to get legs and thighs tender enough to satisfy me!  I have tried multiple times, but it is always chewy!!

Crock-pot..cook until it falls off the bone, can pull it apart with your fingers. Tacos, chili ,soup;all kinds of things you can use it in. I like them cooked in mushroom soup all day then pick all bones and tendons out and pour over rice .

I make Southern Buttermilk Turkey Fries. Cut breast across grain in to 1/4in. thick strips and then lay those strips flat and cut in half longways again. Soak in buttermilk and pickle juice at least for a few hrs. Dip strips in buttermilk egg wash and then flour with Zatarains Southern Buttermilk flour. Let the flour soak in and then coat them again right before you throw them in hot oil for around 2-3 mins. The result are crispy crunchy turkey fried that are the BEST I've ever had. Make some Ranch from the powder pack and use buttermilk, get some Rays chicken sauce, some hot sauce and get ready for your friends and family to praise you!

You just need to cook them (low and slow) longer. You'll know when they are done when the meat falls off the bone.
I cook mine in a crock pot with chicken broth, seasoning and a large onion. Just made enchiladas and pot pie a couple of days ago.
