How do you waterproof?

Good question. Well, for one I keep a couple zip lock bags in the event I need to put my wooden calls/strikers in them. One of my box call pockets actually is water resistant. Not 100% water proof because of the zipper but the pouch is lined , actually both pockets are but one isn't zippered. Same with my pot call pouches. I carry a lighter to dry pot call surfaces if necessary. Other than that, if I have the intention of actually sitting in a down pour I simply bring calls I can actually use, and bag the rest in the event in stops. I prefer to hunt between rains or after them , not during them , but things happen , I'm prepared to bag my calls for the walk out at any moment .

I carry a couple of gal size zip locs in my vest just in case I get caught in a rainstorm so I can protect my good calls.  I guess I don't do anything else for humidity/dew.
