Please Remember Fallen Firefighter Corey Shaw

Our Southern Illinois community suffered a tragedy this past weekend. A young man Corey Shaw, only 22, and a volunteer fireman, was killed while trying to extinguish a very large fire on the square of a neighboring town.

That fire destroyed 2 historic buildings but more importantly it took the life of a good man who was doing what he thought was right by serving his community. He leaves behind a grieving family, his wife and a young daughter.

Please keep his family in your prayers this week.

Thats really sad. Me being a junior firefighter myself, I cant go into the actual fires yet, but ive seen soem really bad stuff, including my best friend getting severe burns on his left arm. All I can do is watch. Prayers sent to his family
