The boys are still feeling it where I live. This group walked through the yard and down my driveway this morning.

Sadly not. Last summer I saw tons of them. So far this summer, none. I'm seeing lots of hens though. Tennessee just changed it's regulations, so I'm going predator hunting.

First seen in this photo with 9 or 10 poults.
Yesterday I seen her with 7

Cowboy

Kid that plays ball with ours told me he saw a couple hens with about 14 poults 3 weeks ago.  They were in my hunting area. Daughter spotted 3 hens with a few poults down the road from our house. There's a few scattered around my neck of the woods.

I saw a couple of hens with around 15 poults on a field edge last week. They were a couple of miles from my place. Sightings have been limited so far.

Thanks for the "tease" in the hot summer. Have you seen any of the Tom's actually breed still? With that much activity, there has to be some poults around.
