Indian Creek tube not fitting flush

I just bought a Mossberg 930. I put an Indian Creek Black Diamond strike tube on it. It's the invector .660 designed to fit this gun. The choke tube does not fit flush to the barrel. A gunsmith told me it should be okay, but I am a little skeptical. Anybody else with this problem? What did you do?

All the Indian Creek chokes I have have a small gap (1/32 or so) between barrel and choke. It fits flush inside the barrel. Indian Creek says this is completely normal and fine to shoot.

Normal.  This info is printed on the package the choke came in.

That's the way it's made to fit by the manufacture, stated on the package...

Okay, thanks for the info. I read everything on the original package but it didn't state this. Glad it's okay though. Thanks again
