Yesterday was another good opener for me.  I was set up in my food plot amongst my Chinkapins.  Started out with a hen at 25 feet, she stuck around for a little while then got board and left.  Then about 40 min later had 2 nice toms come in.  1st time taking my turtle call out.  Ive been a little hesitant using it because it turned out so nice.  Now that Ive killed a nice tom with it, think Ill retire it to the mantle.  After the shot, his buddy wouldnt leave.  Waited for 25 min before he finally walked off.  Now its snowing today, with 2 inches on the ground, and still snowing hard.  Hope its better weather next week.
Short video of the hen.  If you turn up the volume, you can hear her talking.

Since its snowing out today, think Ill work on some turkey calls.  You all have a great day and good luck to all hunting this year!
Aim small!  Scott.
