Thought I would get some thoyght or insight on this. I li e in eastern NC hunt the Croatan National Forest mostly.
Just curious what yall road conditions are lime in you neck of the woods. The southern end of the Croatan is Bad. some washouts havent been repaired from hurricanes 3 years ago. Some roads are getting so bad with washouts they are almost unpassable. I am speaking of all main forest roads. Not side roads getting off the beaten path.

Most public land I've been on have had pretty good roads. Maybe I've been fortunate in where I went.
The land I hunt on locally is leased, and a county road runs thru it. The discover natural gas under it and the county gravelled the road real well for those big trucks. I haven't used 4WD in a while out there. A couple of roads on the lease get muddy but half of them are gravelled too.
Love to hunt the King of Spring!
