Poor fella is missing something...... definitely a mature bird with a case of beard rot. Monday morning scout was productive. Found 8 different longbeards and a bunch of hens on a WMA my wife and daughter have s permit for. Birds were gobbling decent and saw a few stutters. Should be a good opener. 
Taken with a Nikon D850 and a 500mmpf lens. Exif- 1/200sec, iso160, f5.6, 500mm handheld

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.
