Great chokes and love the Pete Rose avatar. My favorite ball player should be in the HOF.

He will get in the HOF but not in his lifetime.

Those .665 IC's are Incredible in the Remmys!  Probably the Best IMO.  I grew up watching Charlie Hustle and the Big Red Machine as a kid.  Loved the way he played the game but he definitely doesn't belong in the HOF.  Ability yes but INTEGRITY to the Game and Profession, No Way!

Agreed, he had the game for sure, but just having the game doesn't make you the full package role model. It's a shame, because he sure was one heck of a ball player. Be safe......

Hope you don't mind a follow up question to your post.

What kind of ammo do you plan on running through this choke (IC .665)?

I have an older (1987) Remington 1187 special purpose 12 gauge with a 26" barrel and I'm looking for a new turkey load.  I purchased a Remington Superfull HeviShot choke, that I believe has .675 restriction, when Hevi Shot first came out.  I ran the original HEVI Shot #6 though that choke with nice patterns.

i need to find a new choke/ammo combination for this upcoming season.
Thanks,
Greg

The guys on the forum like running Hevi-13 #7's through these chokes in the Remi's. Also have seen Longbeard 6's mentioned. Good luck.....

How well would these perform with Winchester XR's in number 6 shot?

I have heard that they perform well Steve. The Indian Creek does well with the Remingtons. Be safe...
