20 gauge not ejecting shell?

What was the shotgun that 3 inch Federal shells would not eject because they were slightly too long?

Unsure, but it's a fairly common problem with older guns. When Winchester discontinued the old extended range for the long beards my buddy couldn't run them out of his Model 12 because the long beards were longer and wouldn't eject.

Unsure also. I have an older 870 probably 25 years old and they eject fine.

It was a certain semiauto that would not do it cause the shell was a hair long coming from one company.  I think it was Benelli M2 and three inch Federal but can't remember and only handloaders could get a a shell to eject by using a certain shell case that was shorter.

some people have trouble getting the benelli m2 and franchi affinity 20ga using fed 3'' tss. some people dont have a problem with them, my franchi affinity works fine with them.

So it's the shells are too long ( not the gun ) and they hang up ejecting and it's only that one 3" load Federal---all other 3" shells eject fine?  Problem is that's the exact shell and gun I want to use so I thought I'd ask before I bought the gun. Wonder why it would be so critical on the shell length?

I believe as far as the shell is that the roll crimp after firing is what  cause the problem.

the 3" fed tss is the only shell i have heard of people having trouble with. i have read of other people like myself not having any trouble with the federal tss cycling, i dont know if it is mainly the newer guns or what, i have a regular affinity not the affinity 3. i remember someone posted it was an easy fix if you did have trouble.
