High plains drifter

3 inch lead BB'S.EXTRA full choke, and always go for a head,  or neck shot.

Gooserbat

2 3/4" TSS handload.  2oz of #9 is amazing.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

Line is out...  In fact I notice you have two lines out...  Nothing biting...
Did I do that?

The new 20 gauge is shooting 2.75" handloads with 1 3/8th oz. TSS #9s. Patterns as well as my 12s shooting 3" factory with 2 oz. of #7 Hevi.
A quality paddle caller will most run itself.  It just needs someone to carry it around the woods. Yoder409

Hand loaded TSS.  Just ordered 10 more pounds of TSS from Hal.

Since I shoot a 12, I've stuck with Hevi 7's.  I've got enough to last my lifetime and they flat out HAMMER birds.

Nice. I am using a 12 as well shooting 3" HS #6s with a 1.75oz payload. It's a 'DRT' load thus far ... knock on wood!

I guess I'm a hypocrite, cause I wish they'd make it illegal to shot any thing over a 2 3/4 # 6s , but as long as they are legal , I like apex # 9 tss out my 20 . Awesome patterns.

28g Nitro 2.75 , 1 7/64  #9 TSS. This is   MY first year for TSS and wow is all I can say.  The Tss is some wicked ammo.  My only recommendation would be , to try your factory choke first.  Before you buy an aftermarket choke.

Very nice pattern.  How large of a diameter is that circle (i.e. 10" or 30" circle)?

How does that pattern look on paper at 10, 20, and 30 yards?

I am currently using a Hevi-Shot 1 5/8 oz of #6's when it was re-branded to Remington.  I have a couple boxes left, and shooting 3 shells per season, with just under 30 shells, I am about 10 years out from purchasing more ammo....

And F.Y.I.  Hevi-Shot 13 is currently no different from the original Hevi-Shot in density.   The original Hevi-Shot has a density of 12 g/cc, and the Hevi-Shot 13 "had" a density of 13 g/cc, but they changed it to match the original at 12 g/cc...  I know that Environmental Metals got some grief over this, so maybe they changed it back???  But I doubt it.

im a huge believer in federals with their flite control wad. i just shot up my last box of their originals so have been trying different loads but their newer grand slams still seem to shoot best out of my sbe
