Looking forward to next spring! Habitat?

Love getting these after season pictures!
Nothing like some extra motivation to do habitat work in the off season! Early season next year should be interesting if the same two longbeards and 8 jakes I saw all season are still hanging around!
What habitat improvements do you guys plan on working on?
I plan on working on some nesting habitat in a recent abandoned hay field, trapping and expanding my neglected clover plots.

Clover plots are a good choice. If you are in Mississippi and don't have hogs, it's time to plant some chufa.
If I wasn't so far from my hunting spots in Ms, I'd try to do some projects on my buddy's place that lets me hunt, but it's too far. Also, trespassers were rampant this year and I fear it would just encourage more of it.

Tree removal is my big one. Ive got several acres to do. I planted milo, buckwheat, and millets to help them through the winter. Ill burn part of my place in the spring. Planted a bunch of shrubs this spring.

Definitely need to hit the coons hard, they have exploded here recently.
Adding some more warm season grass, about 7 acres, some old hay ground will be replanted into alfalfa. Some timber improvements and more controlled fire!

Planted 5 acres of corn and 2 acres of chufa. I'll let an old country boy coon hunt this summer. Do my darndest to shoot some coyotes. I'll plant more clover and wheat in September. I enjoy it all.

id. like to spread some gravel out around our food plots to hopefully keep the birds in the woods and away from the roads

Fertilized clover plots friday
Couple acres of chufa going in ground in next 10 days or so
Been too wet to burn last 3 years. Hoping for good conditions next March
Time permitting to do some work on the predators. Mainly coyotes and raccoons
