If you have the box from orginal ammo see it the payload is the same weight. Friend of mine had same issue and the ammo he bought this year was a few oz less in weight.

First thing I would do is check your choke and clean it...

Especially with tight chokes and thick plastic wads, you can get some plastic residue on the choke that can effect patterning (although I have never seen it affect patterning so drastically).

Also, if there is grime in the choke, it is possible it is not seated all the way, and cleaning the choke and threads, and barrel might make a difference.

Also, are you taking the pattern density at the center of the pattern, or are you taking it where you are "aiming the gun?"  If for some reason your sights or gun is a bit off, you obviously will not get the pattern density where you are aiming the gun.
Did I do that?

Fly fishermen are born honest, but they get over it.

I gave up on the LBs this year same thing . I just could not get anything consistent.

IF I SHOOT AT THE HEAD IT'S DEAD I GUESS IT;S TIME TO PUT A SCOPE ON IT . THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP. STAY SAFE THIS SEASON HOPE EVERY ONE HAS A GREAT SEASON THIS YEAR.......

I had bad luck with LBs this year too. My box from 2 years ago shoots fine though.

Same with 12ga 3-1/2" LBs that were older - everything clean but wad was coming out really deformed? Newer box performed well.

As Marc said, what choke?  Have you cleaned it?  Brake cleaner works well to clean the choke, along with a old toothbrush.  Some on here have had trouble this year with the LB's.  Starting to see a trend, just like we went through with the Hevi's.  If you find a shell that shoots well, you better buy enough of those lots to last a while.  Most of us found this out the hard way with the Hevi's.  The manufacturers change the components or get components from different manufacturers from year to year and patterns go Haywire.  I am a 835 guy as well, I shoot Hevi 7's through a .670 Pure Gold.
