Hello, just looking to see if any members have feedback on these 2 outfitters for a guided Osceola hunt. I am trying to decide between the 2. Osceola Outdoors and Storey Hunts. Have you hunted with either? What did you like about them? What didn't you like about them?

Thanks in advance!

I personally know the Storey's. They've got a good operation going on some beautiful ranches on the north side of the lake. Giant Florida deer too.

I've hunted with Brandon Storey....first class operation. You won't be sorry booking a hunt with Brandon.
I like my turkey well peppered

Both have plenty of pasture "feeder pets" for those with more money than skills.

Easy there buddy. You must have lots of friends with that great attitude.

So I should avoid hunting with either of them based on your first hand experience with both? Warrent423

I have communicated with both outfitters and each seemed just as professional and accommodating as the other. I have booked with Storey because he had dates that were better for my girlfriend and I. Wouldn't hesitate to book with Mike at Osceola outfitters though. He left a great impression on us and seems to have a great operation.

Neither of us have a ton of money, maybe a handful of skills though.

You'll have a great time hunting with Brandon Storey.....ignore the post about money and skills. I hunted there, not a ton of money in my bank account either but I do have plenty of skill to harvest turkeys without money.

My post simply asked for feedback from people who have hunted with one or both of these outfitters.

Have you hunted with either of these outfitters warren423?

Sounds like someone is saving their money for when the South rises again.
Whoever said you can't kill em from the couch never was good enough to call a gobbler into the living room

So having never hunted with either outfitter, why would you feel the need to contribute to a thread asking VERY SPECIFICALLY for feedback from those that have?

Congratulations  "Old Florida" on apparently being a better turkey hunter than anyone who has ever made the decision to hunt with an outfitter.

Nothing untrue about what I said. Both outfitters provide plenty of Turkeys for those who prefer to hunt like that. Being 5th Generation "Old Florida", from just about every county around and below The Lake, I have plenty of friends from the area who are Old School Cracker Turkey Hunters who happen to think like I do. To each their own though
I hunt public ground exclusively also, and have for years, but have been tempted to try an outfitter in other states for two reasons:

1: I have a family, busy work, and very limited vacation time to spend

2: I don't have any turkey hunting buds to go with, so despite years of experience I'd love to learn from someone who does it for a living. Just to see how they setup, call, and work a ton would be worth it for me

I don't know Brandon, but I can tell you that you will have a great time in Tussey's camp.  Go and enjoy yourself!
