Got back from Texas bout 9 this morning, supposed to be a 2 day hunt, but i had some good luck,only took 1 day, left at 8pm monday night, got there bout 530 am tues morn, took a jake at 930, my first ever Rio, another jake at 1130, got a longbeard at 630 tues eve, drove all night coming home, 4 hrs sleep on the way home, fast 36 hrs, 1100 miles by myself, 3 turkeys, priceless, seen 48 birds, prob 19 gobblers,will be going back there next year, that makes 8 birds in 4 states, 2 in LA, 2 in KS, 1 in NEB, 3 in TEXAS, awesome year for me, have funeral visitation tonight for friend of wife's that was killed in accident monday evening, also had lady in dialysis with my wife pass away tuesday morning
