Trigger is in the same place!! I have never had an issue with a shotgun safety to be honest. Easy to wrap your finger around on your shooting hand to get it. Sure it is nicer to have it on your side, but meh...not really a huge deal.

The Southpaw

I'm a lefty, and have been shooting right handed shotguns my entire life. It's not a big deal.

Its not as big of a deal as I made it out to be when I was first purchasing a shotgun.  I just got a R/H shotgun.

Mossberg pumps are lefty friendly with the ambidextrous safety.  Been using them since 1997.

My buddy got a hot glob stuck to his arm shooting a reload left handed.

Browning bps pump. Good for left hand shooters and right hand shooters because it ejects from the bottom of reciever. Also they r great patterning guns.

Southpaw shooter myself and I have shot alot of guns.  Only own one lefty and its a rifle and I can't stand it.  Never have had any problems shooting right handed guns.  Mossberg's have a top safety and would be a good recommendation.
