Will TSS shot shells come down in price as it gets more popular (like next year) or would everyone think its probably priced about where it's gonna stay?

Kytomgetter

Seems like the way everything is trending I look for them to go up like everything else but I also think they'll come out with something else and it'll be more pricey than tss.

It's a globally traded metal. The US isn't even in the top ten consumers. This stuff will  probably only go up in price.

Hevi shot hasn't gone down, even with the tss craze. I expect it to get higher before it gets lower.

I've loaded my own for several years and for the last 3 years it's been around $55/#from my supplier.

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.

I can see it coming down a little as more companies get into making them, but not by much. I want to try them just to try them but can't do it this year. I told my GF I am going to start to buy some $25.00 gift cards from Bass Pro Shops every month until next year and use them to try the TSS Getting that many gift cards I should be able to buy 2 or 3 shells by next season. It is not something I intend to stick with though, to me it is like when I set up my arrow shafts, I try to try something new every year on them, I really like those Spin Tight vanes.

I agree with everybody else on the price. I dont see it coming down to even reasonable. If I had a 20 gauge or smaller, I might give it a whirl.

I see tungsten shells going up as more and more demand is required.  I also see heavishot going up as more and more states require non-toxic shotshells.  I know IL DNR is going to require non-toxic on public land in the coming years.

I started hand loading TSS 5 years ago, the price of the shot was 36.00-38.00 a pound. Same shot this year is 50.00-54.00. When it gets to 60.00 a pound I will go back to the Federal Heviweight #7's which I have a life time supply of..
