noisy box call that seems to sound like a flock of juvenile hens pecking their way through a wheat field

Really wanted to try and pick something up from his sale today, but just couldn't stay up long enough. Damn graveyard shift

Man I set an alarm so I wouldn't forget about that 10am sale and kept refreshing his page and still didnt get one, so dont feel bad
Hahaha this legitimately made me feel better. Being a degenerate turkey call buyer is a bad affliction

Never seen a truer statement made on this board... Just an affliction we must live with, if our wives don't kill us first.
And that's the second truest statement... "if the wives dont kill us first" haha

I was lucky enough to log in at the right time and get one of the six calls that he posted too.  I got a glass over glass in a cherry/maple pot.  I've never had one of Pat's calls either but I've heard him in enough contests to know he knows how build a call, anxious for it to get here.  I will post a sound file when it arrives.

After meeting Pat and playing some of his calls at Turkey Trot acres last year I ordered  a "blue deuce"...it will be in my vest this spring  for sure

My "Jekyll and Hyde" double sided, Alum/slate is always in my vest.  Pat makes a great pot!  He had at least one pot entered in Nashville that I saw.  I believe he also won the 1-sided box call division this year.
