got real lucky on that one. went to some public land that I had never been to before. Got there about 12:30pm and no other trucks were there. as I was getting ready to walk from my truck 3 other trucks drove up. Luckly 2 of them decided to go on.
I was walking back a long open ridge when we peeked over the top we saw 2 long beards strutting about 500yrds away. So we dropped back down the hill and came up behind a barn about 250 yds from them. Ducked into the barn for cover and to see what they were doing. Luckly they coming down the ridge toward the barn.
We never made 1 call just let them keep coming 25 yds away I shot and the other guy missed his bird. I felt bad for him but happy I got one.
Sometimes everything comes together.
