I have this exact combo and turned down a platz glass call trade for it,,,if your a box call guy and want something that sounds completely different ,,get this exact wood combo from Marlin.

I love that call. Marlin told me when i started to order that combo from him that the apple he has now comes no where close to being that raspy. Something about the grain in the wood or some such. He said that combo he is turning out now is much more cleaner. I passed and picked a different combo for raspy per marlins recommendations.

Happy , I have one I got a couple years ago that is as raspy as they come.. Love that box..
