Well it seems as though many spoke and the turkey gods listened. Seen a re-release for the OlTom Grand Slam Treasure Chest. They are being pushed for $99.99 in Bottomland. Pull out the wallets and let the fighting purrs commence. What's y'all thoughts on this joker. Is he worth the hunt or do y'all go find a better bird to hunt?

Swather

I like mine.  But it is a truck item, not for the woods.

Gobble!

Heard a lot about these over the years. What's this supposed to do substitute as a turkey vest?

I like mine, bought it before they discontinued them. It's a very organized way to carry extra calls and pretty much anything turkey hunting related. Spare gloves binoculars etc. As said above it is a truck item, it would be great for out of state hunts for taking extra calls and what not. It has a spot for everything.

Happy

I have one. It holds every turkey call I own. I am not a collector though. It stays home and the calls I am hunting with are in my vest.

For a 100 bucks I will let ya'll have them. They are nice but my calls are stored just fine.

I agree, Keep using what I got and spend 100. Bucks on a call.

I had one from when I was a field staff for Ol Tom. It was great for when I was traveling all over chasing gobblers but was really unnecessary.  I didn't need to drag all that stuff along and realized it after an old tube call and custom personalized  wingbone went missing from it when I was out guiding while the bag was sitting in my locker at the lodge.  Now everything just travels in my vest from state to while, which is always more than what I need. Any extras go into my tote buried in extra clothing.  I sold mine after it was discontinued for the last retail price listed.  $100, not worth it in my opinion. I believe it was $60-70 back in the day.

Tail Feathers

I looked them over real good.  Nothing for box calls really.  Mouth and pot calls would  do ok in it.  I walked out without buying one
Love to hunt the King of Spring!

No good if you have many long boxes, great for choke tubes and pot call and misc small items. Great for a truck but real easy for some untrusting person to walk off with most of your turkey hunting items. If you want something to safely pack and gaurd your stuff at home, it would be good. Don't think $100 good though.

I like mine for out of of state hunts, just easier to keep everything organized and not think about what you wish you would have taken

SCGobbler

I love mine, but it stays in the truck or the hunt club.  Definitely not something you would carry in the woods.

I love mine too, picked it up in Nashville. It'll definitely be riding along in the truck during Turkey season.
