20 gauge Inertia Opinions

I am new to this site so if this is a repeat I apologize. I hunt a lot but it's all killing time until turkey season for me. I have chased turkeys for nearly 30 years. I have no complaints from my Maxus it knocks them dead anytime I don't mess up. I am looking to mix things up next year and swap to a compact light 20 gauge for next turkey season. The front runners so far are the Stoger 3020 Compact 26" barrel for $600 and the Franchi Affinity Compact 24" barrel for $900. Both weigh in around 5 lbs. I definitely like the 24" barrel better for turkeys but it comes with added price. I prefer the idea of a inertia driven auto loader to keep it light. I'm looking for opinions from anyone who has used either and have a honest review of them but would like input on anything comparable. Any info would be much appreciated
Always wondering wether or not to give a cluck

No experience with the Stoeger. Plenty with an Affinity 20 ga, albeit the 26" barrel and not the 24" compact. Can't go wrong with it. Solid and simple design. Well built. Easy to disassemble and reassemble. Good crossover wing shooting and turkey gun. Swings and points well. Shoots as close to POA as any gun I've ever patterned. Crazy good patterns with HTL shot through a Carlson.575.  I think you can find one new for well under $900.  Mine ain't for sale...

I've been looking at both of those as well. I like the 24" barrel on the Franchi, but according to the website it is a little heavier than the stoeger. It's not much difference in weight though. Both guns handle good to me

I wish one of these guns would be offered in a 21-22" barrel but hardly any semis are. Must be something to do with the gas system.

Has absolutely nothing to do with the "gas system" as the Franchi Affinity and Stoeger M3020 are both Inertia driven.

Perhaps I should have said operating system lol.
