I had to hunt this post up, but was glad to hear you were able to connect.  Sounds like there were some missed opportunities, so a great hunt for the tough conditions.  You'll be more prepared for revenge next time around....bad weather or not.

Reads like some really hard hunting, and some really good persistence. A little confusion on the last birds. Very noble of you to give up your shot so to speak. But if your like me, regardless of who actually "shot" the bird, everyone got the bird if their hunting together.
