I have a little project that I am building and need to know if you all have any favorite bible references that deal with hunting or just a favorite one in general? Either just put the verse in or you are more than welcome to type out the whole verse. Thanks Sam

Gen 9:3

Quote3 Everything that lives and moves about will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything.

Then a voice told him, "Get up, Peter. Kill and eat."  Acts 10:13

Deuteronomy 12:20-22 (New International Version, ©2011)
20 When the LORD your God has enlarged your territory as he promised you, and you crave meat and say, "I would like some meat," then you may eat as much of it as you want. 21 If the place where the LORD your God chooses to put his Name is too far away from you, you may slaughter animals from the herds and flocks the LORD has given you, as I have commanded you, and in your own towns you may eat as much of them as you want. 22 Eat them as you would gazelle or deer. Both the ceremonially unclean and the clean may eat.

Leviticus 17:13 (New International Version, ©2011)
13 "'Any Israelite or any foreigner residing among you who hunts any animal or bird that may be eaten must drain out the blood and cover it with earth,

Colossians 2:16 (New International Version, ©2011)
16 Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day.
"I admire a good turkey hunter chiefly because such a man displays qualities that we usually associate with pioneer America-patience, enthusiasm, woodcraft, game sense, and a quiet hardihood undaunted by rain, by cold, by long tough miles, by disappointment."

well this isn't bible verse though, but I did write this in the prayer request and daily dovesnail thread
When  I hunt I feel like the lord is with me walking with me and watching over me.when I hunt I feel god embrace.when I hunt there no other place to feel gods love.As the night starts to fade and the dawn light start to light the new day.I see gods grace to give me one more day in this world to love, laugh and try to be a better man.In that moment of day before everything awakes  for the new day .I feel gods peace. When I hunt it's like a service with no people, the choir begins as the birds starts to chirp or gobble in the distant,Its day light now, I sit and stay calm.Lord we had many talks in your creation that I love so much. How I told of my fears and concerns. The time I was deer hunting and I told you I will teach my unborn child of you and the love I have for you.lord the time I shot my first turkey. I laughed and praise you for blessing me  that sunday morning.the time as I shot my first deer with the bow. I knelt by the blood trail and gave thanks for that morning.I never know what you may show me lord as I hunt in that woods, It's always different.you know I talk to you quite a bit. when hunting asking for you to have that deer keep on coming my way or that long beard.you know as I was hunting that song or that bible verse came to my mind. "take of your shoes your standing on holy ground'.I feel its all holy. Some people ask me if I hunt by my self and I say yes,but I'm never truly alone in your creation.people take it for granteed the splendor of what you created for us, because you love us. this WHY I HUNT not for the bragging, not for the meat, but don't get me wrong I do love the meat of the harvest. As you put them for us to eat and enjoy. lord I love you
