What's the farthest you ever killed one ??

(Usually followed by "Well I killed one at _ _ yards last year............ ")

The good Lord ain't made a gobbler I can't kill.  I just gotta be there at the right time.....  on the day he wants to die.

Why does your shotgun have a skinny barrel?

How many shots did you shoot?

Or. Was that your truck parked over at Notellum creek yesterday??????

*After eliciting a gobble of a bird moderately distant...  How much closer do I get, and how do I get there?
*For a bird that is hung up...  Do I move?  Do I move closer, further, or parallel?
*Birds on the roost with hens?  Do I call aggressively and try to irritate the hens to come in, or call subtly and hope to seduce a tom?
*Late morning and single bird that will gobble, but not move at all closer to me...  What do I do?
Did I do that?

Fly fishermen are born honest, but they get over it.
