What's the recommendation for grit for glass calls?

Jroddc

I've used 100 and 120 grit with pretty much identical results.

Stone then 150,  I like drywall screen pieces for quick touch-up in the field.

150 works well for me.  Different grits will produce different sounds. The finer the grit, the cleaner the sound.

Hi Chatterbox,  I use sandpaper in a pinch but a stone sanding will last longer. Hallororan recommends a stone on his crystals. Hope you had a good season, me and my 2 boys are done, time to hit the haddock! We're down in Bow.
