First Black Hills experience

Good luck, that is great country.I guess camping is the way to go. I've scouted a few areas in my goat, in the summer.It all looks like good bird country, but I like the high ground, and the deep cuts. Having a cabin out there would be great.

We stayed in a decent hotel for 48 dollars a night.  All we did was sleep in it, so it worked out fine.  if we weren't hunting we were either out to eat or at the brewery across the street!

for me, the cheaper, the better. I know this place that's only 22 dollars a night. Good tv, good shower. Beats camping.

If you guys don't mind, could you PM me where you stayed?  I might head out there next year with my brother and a friend of his.  I enjoy camping, but they're not the camping type.
