Best Turkey Vest

I couldn't be happier with the new primos rocker vest for under $100. Extremely comfortable seat with back support, solid pocket layout with huge amount of storage. I've run a HS strut vest, cabelas tac tater II, cabelas kickstand, used a back pack and lounger, fanny pack and lounger, tried on multiple other vests and this the only one I'm completely happy with so far.

I think they could even do a Rocker light though next year with a more minimal pocket layout.. I love the massive amounts of storage but I could see guys who don't carry tons of calls thinking its a bit much.

Everyone has their favorites so your gonna get a lot of opinions on this one. Best advice I can give is to try on as many as possible and pick the one that fits you and your style of hunting best. Good luck.

I love my Cabelas tactical tatr 2. Thick seat, lots of pockets, comfortable, and the seat has what they call "speed seat" and it's awesome for getting the seat up and down easily.

Depends on your style, I don't always use a vest.  If its hot, I put on my Ol Tom shirt and pants put some shells and a mouthcall in my pockets and hit the woods.  I have enough room in those clothes for my GPS, Thermacell.  I have a small inflatable cushion if the ground is wet, but if its dry I just sit on directly on the ground.  The back pad in the shirt can get a little hot but makes all the difference in the world in back comfort against a tree.  If I am going to be gone all day I will take the vest so I can have extra room for clothes, food, water etc.  I have tried several and have really narrowed it down to this one I got from Wal-Mart....super comfortable and in my opinion, for the money can't be beat!

I haven't found the perfect turkey vest. It seems like I change vests every season and find flaws with all of them. The only vest I haven't put on eBay is an original Primos gobbler vest and it still isn't exactly what I want.

I've got an ol Tom I beam 2.0 in mossy oak obsession that I'll sell you for a real good price. I've been bowhunting turkeys for the past two years and just don't need all that vest. It's in great shape never been in the woods. PM if your interested.

I also bought a Primos Rocker that I love even more but it's on it's way back to Primos because it's already torn after 2 weekends.  At the first of the season I bought a Midway Turkey vest that I've used for part of the season & now that my Rocker Vest is headed for repair or replacement I'm using it again. Time will tell on how it will hold up but it is a cheaper vest.  I've used my Cabela's Tactical Tater 2 for 4 or 5 seasons & the only hole in it is where my pruning shears polked a small hole through the game bag. And believe me I've dragged that vest through hell & back. If the new ones are as good as the older ones it would be hard to find a better vest for the money in my opinion.

This describes me to a "T".

I love full shoulder vests for comfort but I also sometimes like the lighter weight of a strap vest. So far this season I've been wearing two different vests, a Cabelas Super Tat'r 3 and a Super Elite II from Mossy Oak.

I am the same way....wish I could sew or knew someone that was patient enough to work through my ideas I would make my own.  LOL!
