wanting some suggestions from the on where to possibly start with chokes on my Beretta A300.  I've been told the bore diameter is a little small at .723 so anything with the flightcontrol wad is not the best fit.  I'm thinking they would be probably at best out of the factory full if so...I spoke with a Federal Tech support fella and he said they were designed to be shot from around a .690 for best performance.  I'm not going with any flightcontrol anyhow so,  The 5 loads I have to test are:

Longbeard XR 5/6's
Hevi 13 #6
Mag Blends
Thugs 4/5's
Rem Premium Mag.

A few chokes I have or on order,

SumToy 650
Progold 670
Trulock 655
Carlsons Hevi 13

You have great loads to test and the chokes you have on order are some of the best in the biz.
I would start from either tightest and up or vise versa.
That's a lot of chokes and loads to pattern.
You may want to stop your work once you find a good load and choke combo that satisfies you.
That Way once you deplete that gear you can do it all over again with what you haven't tried yet.
I used to do exactly what your about to do, you will find that you reach a pinnacle that is achieved with several of these loads and chokes and just makes choosing only one a brain bender.
Then again if you just want to bang off a bunch for the fun and learning of it all then go for it.
If you do this make sure to record your findings on paper and put it in the safe, that way you can grab your gun , choke of choice and coresponding best load and go hunting with confidence.
You will be good to go for years to come.
Good luck and have a blast.
There He IS !

A JEB'S .650 will work very well in that gun with all of those shells.
