I have a 2 reed call that still sounds great, but is several years old and the reeds are starting to look kind of nasty... Any way to clean them, or just leave them since they still sound good?

If your talking about mouths call get mouth wash, like Crest Pro Health, it has no alcohol ...

I ran it under some warm water last night and used a plastic toothpick between the reeds. It looks a little better, but I will probably end up getting some new calls after this season anyways. They are inexpensive enough that it won't hurt to get some new ones.

I usually soak mine in mouth wash. About a 50-50 mixture with water, and store them in the fridge in the off season. Helps keep them tight and sanitary. I always buy a couple new ones each year, but it is good to have some back ups.
Lol, actually soaking a few right now. I want my breath to be fresh, for when I kill a Tom this Saturday.
