I have a bunch of VHS tapes and since that format is almost out altogether due to the DVD format taking over, was wondering what some of you guys
are doing with yours? I have already thought of converting them over to the DVD format, but they want $15.00 apiece for that process. Don't really want to pay twice for the same tapes. My VHS unit stopped working, so I am thinking either of selling them or possibly donating them to our local library?

LOL Tom I'm in the same boat, have a ton of Harold and David's and several of the Primo's .

They will just set around and collect dust. One thing I do want to mention, if you want to see how far the game of turkey hunting has come. Just watch one of the old Night and Hale tapes.
Don't gobble at me...

What i did was pickup a couple of old VCR from Flea market, have one at home and one at the hunting cabin. We still enjoy watching some of the old tapes..  I picked these up for around 10 dollars each....Just check yard sales and flea markets....

I've got all the Primos Truth videos and the first 16 were vhs.Who did you find to transfer them to dvd? I haven't found anyone to do it. I got 1/2 thru one tape before the old VCR ate it really like the old videos of Will Cuzz and the old camo etc.
If you make everything easy how do you know when your good at anything?

I have a Sony VHS player and DVD recorder. I have put all my from VHS to DVD. If you decide to sell them i would maybe like to buy some of them. and I could maybe put some of them on DVD for you if there is not too many of them. I am missing a few of the Knight and Hale Turkey VHS tapes in my collection.

Place that does this conversion is called "Video Photography". They are located in Clarence, NY. Call them at 716-759-1111

Converted all my VHS tapes to DVD and got permission from Primos to do so. All you need is a VHS player and DVD recorder, play off one and record on the other one. If any of you are interested in getting rid of your VHS tapes give me a heads up.
Thanks
Mike

Got to looking and found a couple places that transfer VHS to DVD Southtree will do it for 12.00 per tape
Also its not copyright infringement as long as you don't try to sell the DVD so no permission needed.
