I live too far away or I would gladly help you out.  Don't get all wrapped up in gear and equipment and being able to call like a pro. I killed my first bird in a pair of Levi's and camo T-shirt. I had one mouth call. I was 14 and that was all I could afford.  Learn the woods and turkey's patterns and you will be better off. The experience and the calling piece will come. I just got into bowhunting elk a few years ago. Figured I would get good with some calls and then call in a bull like a gobbler. Good elk hunters and callers learn the mountains and the elk first.  I'm still learning both and banking it will come together for me like turkeys did.
