Almost. I think I paid $49.95 for them. I bought a pair for Doris and for me and we've been using them a lot since I wrote the article. They work very well. 

The only problem I've experienced is that one of the batteries was knocked loose when I got too close to a scope and it hit the brim of my cap which in turn "rocked" the muffs. I noticed I was not hearing very well, took them off checked them and found the somewhat loose battery. I put it back in place and it's been fine since.

I'm happy with them so far.

ILL TELL YA , FOR A FEW HUNTING SEASONS I HAD A SIMILAR SET AND I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WHITH IT , THE SOUNDS I COULD PICK UP AND WHEN I WHENT TO CHANGE THE BATTERY THERE WHERE CORRODED I HAVE TO GET A NEW SET IM THINKING THE ONE THATS QUADE SOUND IF THEY STILL MAKE THEM ...........THEY ARE REALLY NICE ... OOO YA THEY DO KEEP THE MASQITOES OFF MY EARS  ALSO ..........
