Picked up this m2 off gunbroker for $730.  The owner had put camo tape on the stock and forend and left it a sticky ugly mess.  Everyone was scared off by it so I got it super cheap.  Spent a couple days scrubbing off all adhesive residue and gave it a good acetone bath.  Painted the stock  and forend od green with brownells Alumahyde.  Pleased with how it came out.  Barrel, receiver and action are in perfect condition.  A little elbow grease and got a nice as new m2 for around $750.

Great gun you have there. I have the M1 field in 12 ga and its been a flawless shotgun. Cant go wrong with Benelli.

Congratulations! That is an excellent shotgun and should give you a lifetime of great service. If you've not already done so, I'd recommend that you "deep clean" the bore. It will help the interior as much as you've already helped the exterior.

Thanks,
Clark
