A buddy of mine had a birthday, and I thought a new scratcher would be the perfect gift... Also gave me a great excuse to order a couple calls for myself (a matching scratcher and a box call)...
I decided to go with SS Calls, and was not disappointed. The photos do an extremely poor job of catching the finish on the calls.
The box call will most certainly be in my vest next season, as will the scratcher. This makes my second scratch box (one from Lonnie Gilbert as well), and I have to say, that owning two very nice (but different) scratchers, I will probably lean more and more towards these calls. Fun to play and a distinctively realistic calls.
