Burris SpeedBead FFIII

I previously posted this in the optics section but I know a lot of people on here are using the FFIII and I am trying to get a little more traffic before I pull the trigger on this (or not).  Thanks
Does anyone have any experience with The SpeedBead on a Beretta 391?  Benelli guys seem to be sold on them and others say they will not hold zero (due to the mount).  I have a 391 20 gauge and have finally located a SpeedBead setup for it (apparently Burris discontinued the 20 g unit some time ago).  I am really torn on purchasing for two reasons; I am concerned that the package is only available with the 8 MOA dot and am concerned about the mount holding zero.   I think I would be happier with the 3 MOA dot.  Any experience would be greatly appreciated.  I have successfully used this gun for the last five years with just the bead so if this will not work all is not lost!

Honestly, I wouldn't trust that mount for precise shooting.  Of course, it might work just fine, but I'd much rather have a solid mount attached to the receiver.  But that's just me...

The 8 MOA is the better way to go in my opinion. I have been shooting mine for 2 seasons now with 7 kills and love it. Here are 2 from this season.

Have one on my daughters Mossberg 20g no issues and has fired many 3' rounds with no change in POI, she loves it !.

Thank each of you for your input.

I'm having my Benelli M2 tapped to accommodate the FF3. I prefer the structural integrity of a receiver mount instead of placing an optic in a joint between receiver and stock.

Lifetime warranty. I own ultra dot and I am more than pleased!
