After having my old scope fail just before the season last year (I feel your pain), I replaced it with a Truglo hunk of garbage that several folks recommended. It cost me one bird and almost another. So for this season, I went with a Trijicon Dual Illumination RMR green dot scope. In low light it uses Trijicon, it normal light it uses fiber optics, so I don't ever have to worry about electronics or batteries failing. Plus it is Trijicon tough, so I'm not worried about it losing it's zero, like that Trujunk did. I did end up removing the anti-reflection cover though. It didn't let in enough light, making the dot harder to see. I'll probably modify it to see if that helps.

Have you checked to make sure there's no debris in front of where the laser shoots out? Not on glass. Toward back of sight from the glass. I used to shoot with 1 and occasionally I would get some dirt or piece of a leaf in front of it and the dot wouldn't show up until after I cleaned it off.

Good luck!

We are doing some last minute scouting and practicing with the kids this weekend then finally we will be able to get out for youth weekend on
the 30th.

I do like the FFIII in a store but haven't sprung for one yet. Just beads for me this season on the benelli

Got her all dialed in with the scope, but just not my favorite way to shoot. Gonna try some TruGlo Magnum Gobble dot sights next spring.
If I don't like them, I will put the FFIII back on top.
I have to say, I did like just the front sight. Only drawback was the horrendous cheek slap, so maybe open sights are better for me!
