I know it's early as some States have not started yet, and they can chime in once things get going. But for those hunting now or have been hunting this Season, are you hearing much? Hearing about the same as last year, more or less?

Starting to see gobblers strutting and hanging with hens in NY

East Tennessee and way less than normal but that could just be me... others have reported good gobbling

Watched a tom breed a hen Friday in NY

West Tenn has be way less than normal. The last gobble was last Tuesday and i saw him and i got him to gobble 3 times but he would not work at all he keep going like a train on a track...We've had a lot of wind and cool weather. I've saw hens everyday...

Where I'm at in Illinois they're gobbling like crazy on the roost and not a peep on the ground

West Central Illinois, Monday opener, didn't hear a single peep. Didn't see any in the fields either.

In central Alabama where I hunt they were gobbling a few time before fly down the first couple weeks & since then I have not heard a gobble. This is public land so it may be different elsewhere.
