X2 on the factory full. Test some #4 or #5 longbeards with your full choke before you buy a new tube. You might be suprised at how well they shoot. My M2 threw a plenty stout pattern with 3" #5's and the favtory full. Hopefully you will find the Sumtoy!

Factory full

Without being able to pattern the gun first, I would agree...  I have had after-market turkey chokes that shoot a bit high or low...  At least I know where my full choke shoots...

Currently, I am shooting a factory full, and my patterns are good out to 40 yards with Hevi-shot #6's.

I was thinking about purchasing a turkey choke this year (as I also lost mine), but I wonder about the actual advantages of such.  In good range, there is a benefit to a bit larger pattern with the factory choke, and the factory choke produces satisfactory patterns out to 40 yards...  Why handicap myself by shooting an ultra-tight pattern at the ranges I am generally shooting my turkeys at?

This season, I took the top of the head off a bird at 15 yards, and was wondering if I might not have missed that bird if shooting an after-market choke (I purposely held a bit high as I did not want to put any pellets in the body, but apparently I held a bit too high)?

15 yards 1 5/8 oz Hevi-Shot #6's out of a factory full choke in a Beretta Urika-2:

Did I do that?

Fly fishermen are born honest, but they get over it.

Good point guys with the full choke. I did miss a bird last year at 7 yards because of the pattern my Sumtoy threw was so tight that the bird was able to drop his head as I pulled the trigger.

Indian Creek. Find the SumToy, compare the two, and sell the lesser one.

I thought about doing that, but the indian creek is like a .665 and the Sumtoy is a .650. I dont think Indian creek will do nearly as good. The Long beard choke is a .650 but havent really heard much about it.

The constriction is a small piece of the puzzle. I have seen more open chokes out perform tighter chokes many times.
