It's all about the journey

Me, son and 1 of his friends made a turkey hunt this weekend. We had a great time, located some hens but couldn't find the gobblers. The comment below is what he posted on his facebook when we got home. Makes me so proud that he realizes it's not all about the kill but the journey
Didn't kill anything, but what a beautiful place! I'll definitely be back for deer season! #kisatchie — at Kisatchie National Forest.

That's great. I know people that can't see the forest for the trees, so to speak. The only thing that matters to them is the kill and they seem blind to everything else. I think they're missing out on a big part of the experience.
Glad you guys had a good time.
Bob
