How did you mount the FF on the gun?  My SA-459, which I'm assuming is similar to your SA08 had a rounded top and I didn't like the way the 336 mount fit.

I had it drilled and tapped for the 336 base mount. The top of the receiver isn't completely round on mine. I will try to get a picture tonight.
