Hoping for a mountable turkey

When I first started hunting in the mid 80's we really didn't have many turkey here. I never really got into it, I went a couple times here and there in the mid 90's. In 2008 I got in on an out of state lease, I needed to take a hunters safety course to get my out of state license. The guys teaching it brought all their turkey stuff in,I thought it would give me more time in the woods so I decided I would take it seriously.
I got some calls and practiced alot, read books, watched videos, got a nice used dedicated turkey gun. I got schooled a few times that spring but into the third week it all came together and I was able to harvest a decent bird. I've been lucky enough to have taken 4 birds with this spring being the start of my 9th year.
I'm still waiting to get a bird nice enough to get mounted, seems something has been off with the ones I've gotten so far, Either broken spurs or just not big enough. Hopfully this will be the year?

I have the same dilemma. Good luck with the mountable thunder chicken.
