Does anybody have these and how do they look compared to DSD?

I've never handled them in person, but by the pictures I think DSD and even avian x have the edge. They look more in line with the hs strut snood series.

I have the Deception Big Jake and Boss Hen, they are outstanding! They are every bit as good as the DSDs. Super realistic. i think they are a little better looking than the DSDs, maybe it's just me, but definitely on par with them for quality.

I too have the boss hen, and just got the jake.

Trust me, they are 1000% better than an avion x.....it ain't even close.

Just the fact they are completely made in the USA sets the above the others.

I'd have to give the details in the paint job to DSD, nobody does it better....yet.

There's a thread over in the hunting tips section about them.

I have seen the hen...  I think that the hen is right on par with the DSD hen...

Looks to me like the DSD jake has the edge though...  I own the Avian X jake, and I think that they did a better job on the jakes than the hens...

Deception decoys are a tiny bit less money, but I wonder how they will handle a few stray pellets?
Did I do that?

Fly fishermen are born honest, but they get over it.

Pretty sure it will handle a few pellets.....it's virtually the same material as the DSD.

I keep wondering how these decoys get shot up. Seems to me, if you've got that much money tied up in them, it'd be a wise decision to let them separate a bit before smoking the bird but that's just me. I like a good show as much as the next guy but not at the expense of a pen expensive decoy. Jmho.

I have a hen and it looks great. Made in USA :smiley-patriotic-flagwaver-an :smiley-patriotic-flagwaver-an
When I turkey hunt I use a DSD decoy

look good but I will take the DSDs.
