Mississippi Opening Day...WINDY !!!!!

I took off work and made the 1 hour 40 minute drive to my camp close to the Tunica Hills, south of Natchez. Awoke this morning to freaking wind. Two turkeys started gobbling at 6:53 and at 7:00 hushed, that was it.....stayed in the woods until 11:30 wind was blowing around 20 mph. I did manage to call up a hen around 10:00 but she was nervous as all get out....only thing I could figure is all the wind and movement of things had her spooky. I came home and will save my vacation days for some better weather lol! Not much to read about but that's how my 2016 season opener played out.....good luck to all!!!!
